I drive a mobile dog grooming van ((  the dog father ))  and treat myself to lunch every day.  Today I stopped at Rainbow Gardens.  I had a seat inside in the bar at the window over looking the town green. They have great tables out on the patio too, but I had work to do over lunch so I sat inside.   I had the best grilled chicken club that i have ever had -  and it came with french fries too!!   Grilled chicken breast with a couple of slices of crispy bacon and Gorgonzola cheese!!   It was so big that I ate the other half for dinner when I got home!  And oh!!  Don't skip dessert!!!   I had a big fatty slice of chocolate layer cake that set my mood for the day !!!  Happy Day!! I am planning on coming back for a girls night out dinner here!!  Just a wonderful place!!

Cheery place and great salads. Good for when no one can decide what they want to eat as there is something for everyone. I say the best meal you can go for here is lunch and one of the few places open on Sundays in CT.

Was here for lunch a few weeks ago....the place was packed! Every time that I have eaten here it has been delicious! They have a huge menu, almost over whelming! I love the salads!! There is something for everyone on the menu, so quaint and cozy! I brought my 10 month old and he loved people watching.

We came to Connecticut from out of town with our son's high school lacrosse team for the weekend and wanted to have a nice dinner with just the parents. I found the Rainbow Garden Inn thru Yelp and was not disappointed. They were able to accommodate our party of 35-39 in a separate room upstairs which was perfect for us. They were very patient with me as the number for dinner kept going up and down. The staff was very friendly throughout. I stopped by earlier in the day to check out the room. I didn't call and the staff was great about it and showed me the room without hesitation. We trickled in for our dinner reservation around 9pm. They were very flexible: check for each table (their were 4), extra chairs at one table, and drinks right away (we lost the game). The food was great, the wait staff were friendly and worked as quick as they could. The kitchen was supposed to have closed at 10p. I know some of our party arrived late but there was no problem. It was a great experience and will definitely be back to Rainbow Garden again next year when my son plays against Yale. Hoping to win that one.

Love this place so much!  The food is fantastic and dining outside is so relaxing in this quaint little restaurant.  It has so much charm and a cozy feel.
